American Consumer Opinion Panel Payments Update

Anne Parks, the Vice President of American Consumer Opinion Panel, sent a email out stating the new changes to the way payment are going to be handled. Beginning mid-December instead of getting mailed a check every time you complete a survey, the amount that the survey was for will be deposit into your account. They are making this change because they think it may be an inconvience for the members to deposit small checks.

I personally don't mind cashing small checks but I think adding this feature is a good idea who do find cashing them an inconvience. It may draw more members in since it's basically a no minimum cashout but you also have the option of accumulating your survey earnings in your accoutn if you wish, and can withdrawel anytime. Maybe next they will implement PayPal? Hopefully they are at least considering it since many people depend on PayPal for most transactions, and waiting for checks can be an incoveince in itself.

Here is the email that was sent out today abotu the new payment procesign changes:

Dear Tristen,

Starting in mid-December, when you complete a survey from American Consumer Opinion, your incentive check will be deposited in your account (instead of being automatically mailed to you). This will allow you to accumulate incentives in your account, and then request a payment check whenever you wish.

In the past if you completed a regular survey (10 minutes or more in length) you were mailed a check within four weeks after completing the survey. Now, in the new system (not available until mid-December), a few days after you complete a survey, your account will be credited for the full amount of your incentive. This will allow you to accumulate money and receive a larger check, instead of the inconvenience of depositing many small checks. You will be able to withdraw your money at any time once it's credited to your account. You can withdraw your money often, or let it build up as a savings account.

So, the next time you complete a survey (10 minutes or longer) and you are ready to withdraw money from your account, please go to American Consumer Opinion (www.acop.com) and click the Login link located under the Members section. Log in with the email address and password that you used to register as a member. If you cannot remember your password information, you can request the information be emailed to you from the web site.

Thanks again for being a member of American Consumer Opinion. Please invite your friends to join.

We wish you a happy holiday season and a wonderful new year!

Thanks!

Anne Parks

Opinion Outpost "Thank You Rewards"

Opinion Outpost now has a new reward system if you don't qualify for a survey, you can choose either a small donation to charity, an instant win game, or an entry into their sweepstakes. Here is a screen shot of what the rewards area looks like for those of you who haven't seen it:

I have chosen the instant win game every time hoping maybe I can win the $50 prize but it seems that every time I do I get the following message:

Survey Status
We’re sorry. You did not win the $50.00 cash prize.
Please try again on another survey to win!
Please look for more survey opportunities in the future.
I guess better luck next time! This kinda makes me want to do their surveys more, but then again its just a sweepstakes, instant win game or donation to charity. I think it would be more worth it to give it to charity, at least you know its going to be donated where as the sweeps and instant win games are a chance for you to win and no guarantee. It would be great if they did something like GlobalTestMarket and give a point or so even if you didn't qualify for the survey. Perhaps opinion Outpost is taking a step in that direction, at least I hope! What do you think of the new "Thank You Rewards"? Does this reward system make you more inclined to participate in surveys from Opinion Outpost or is your participation still unchanged?

Netverdix Survey Payment Notification!

Netverdix survey payments for September have been delayed and will be mailed in November. I received this email yesterday, you can read more about the situation below:

Dear Tristen:

We would like to thank you for your recent participation in Netverdix, Inc. surveys. The success of our surveys depends upon participants such as you. We hope that you enjoyed the survey experience and we look forward to your continued participation.

We recently discovered some fraudulent activity that was impacting the Netverdix checking account that we have been using to pay our participants who opted for payment via check.

Due to this fraudulent activity, the September 2008 survey earnings payment has been delayed. All September 2008 survey earnings will be mailed no later than November 21, 2008 . We apologize for the delay in issuing this payment but due to the fraudulent activity we had to open a new reward payment account and have new checks issued for the new account. The perpetrators of this activity were not at all related to the Netverdix operation and other organizations located elsewhere in the United States were also affected.

We will be back on schedule and all October 2008 survey earnings will be processed on December 1, 2008.

We also offer PayPal as a payment option. Paypal payments have already been processed and sent. If you prefer PayPal, you may log-in to your Netverdix account and update your payment setting under the "My Details" section of your Personal Panelist Page. Otherwise, you will continue to receive payments via check.

Sincerely,

Netverdix Panel Team

Mindfield Product Test

I qualified for a product test from Mindfield today, I haven't gotten a product test from them since I think last summer ... I know it's been a while! I think another reason is because I haven't been doing their surveys lately because of lack of time, I get at least 20 surveys a day if not more, of course there are some days I only get 5 but 75% of the time its 20 a day! Between blogging, surveys, mylotting, doing my rounds at my ptc sites it's sometimes hard to get everything done, especially when I have a restricted amount of time to do it in. I guess thats life. Anyway about the product test, well the survey only took about 10-15 minutes to complete and was pretty straightforward. I knew it was going to be a product test the way the survey was set up so i was hoping I would qualify. I should be getting the product in the mail within the next week and have to test all of the product for a certain number of days each. I would post pictures when I get the product but like most of you know who have done product tests this is against the terms, it's not just for Mindfield but most survey companies. I am not allowed to specify what the product is or show other people the product besides the people in my household, and I don't think everyone from the internet is in my household last time I checked, lol. I will tell you what comes of the product test, besides the $4 for the initial survey I took.

FGI Research Payments

I received two payments from FGI Research yesterday. They were both for $1.00, the surveys were only about 5-10 minutes long. One thing I like about FGI Reserach is that they pay via PayPal, and even if you have a premier or business account fees are not deducted. I have noticed this with all of the survey sites that have paid me via PayPal so far, which is nice since you know you will receive all of your survey earnings instead of a portion. I have also been working on my payment proofs, I decided to add my own logo to them. I did this not only because it looks nice but to deter people from stealing my payment proof and posting it as their own. Anyway, here are my payment proofs:

HCD Surveys Payment

HCD Surveys sent me a check a week or so ago but didn't have time to post it with Halloween and then my 2 year old son having to stay in the hospital. I guess it's just been a hectic week! Anyway HCD Surveys sends a couple surveys a month, of course with the election the past 6 months have been a lot more active. In those months I received at least 1 survey a week sometimes 2-4! They send health surveys most of the time with the exception of political ones, those are the only kind of surveys I have received to date from them. The surveys themselves are not very long, maybe 10-15 minutes if that, the compensation per survey is fairly good considering what others might pay. I am already back at the minimum to cashout again and may do so in the next month or so. Here is the payment proof for HCD Surveys:
