you are sending it to does not have to be a member of the
Advisory Panel to take the survey and be eligible to
win a prize.

There will be 10 $50 prizes randomly chosen among
those who participate in this survey.

If you are not a member of the Advisory Panel and
would like to become one just go to:

So if anyone want to take the survey or even join their panel go ahead and click on the links above. They don't send many surveys for cash rewards, but I have received a couple $5 gift cards. Survey Email Invites

I'm sure many of you read my posts and wonder how many survey site invitation do I get in my email everyday, truthfully it depends but it averages out to be between 8-20 a day. Sometimes I get more and sometimes less, on weekends it seems like I don't get as many survey invites compared to on weekdays. I decided to give you guys a little view into my email inbox, I took a screen shot of the emails I received today.

When you click on the image you will see I received 18 surveys today and then 13 for the 25th of June. I also listed the other survey invitations from the 18th to the 24th of June, there aren't a lot shown mostly because I had completed some of the surveys and already deleted the emails. But as you can see I get a good share of surveys within a day.

Of course your results may differ, this depends on a few things:

  • Demographics (Age, Sex, Location, Martial Status, Employment, Education, etc)
  • Amount of survey sites you are signed up with
  • If profile boosters/surveys are complete/updated
My Demographics are:
  • Stay at home mom
  • 20 years old
  • Have a 2 year old son
  • Unemployed
  • Engaged
  • High School Diploma
  • Household income is under $15,000
  • I'm Caucasian/White
I also am a member of over 40 survey sites, evidently some are better than others. But this doesn't mean you shouldn't join with the little survey companies, they may not send you surveys regularly but when they do it is rewarding most of the time. I have gotten a couple $5 target gift cards from a small survey company, they give gift cards out to the first 200 people who answer the 5-10 minute survey which gives you a good chance to be eligible to earn it. I am not sure of the name of this survey site, but if I get another email from them I will let you guys know.

I do try to update my profiles on each survey site either every month or every other month, depending on the site. Some sites it helps to update your profile regularly and complete any profiles or profile boosters, this increases your chances of getting survey opportunities.

MySurvey AdTrcker

MySurvey now has another way to gather consumer opinions, it's called AdTracker. When I logged in (to complete a 10 question survey worth 10 points) there was a link in red saying to click to learn more, well I did just that. Here is what it stated about MySurvey AdTracker:

MySurvey.com AdTracker
There are many different ways that MySurvey.com gathers consumer opinions - taking online surveys is the most frequent way we ask for your opinions. Another research program, MySurvey.com AdTracker, is used to understand the advertisements you see when browsing the internet. (The latest research shows consumers don't mind online advertising, but they prefer to only see ads relevant to them.)

Here's how MySurvey.com AdTracker works:

  • Browse the internet as usual - cookies are used to track the advertisements that are served to you (no software applications to download). Visit our privacy policy to learn more about how we use cookies.
  • Not every advertisement you see is tracked, only a select number of advertisements that our clients have registered through this research program are tracked.
  • MySurvey.com AdTracker does not track if you click on that advertisement, only if it was served to you. Additionally, this research program does not track any websites you visit, click-stream data or any other internet activities or behaviors.
  • As always the data collected is kept in the strictest of confidence and only aggregated data (group level) is released to our clients.

Benefits for participation:

  • Help companies target advertisements that are relevant to you and your lifestyle.
  • Receive surveys that are targeted more to your lifestyle and the things you own and use.
  • Receive an entry into our bi-monthly $10,000 sweepstakes each day you participate.
  • Receive an entry into the MySurvey.com AdTracker monthly sweepstakes. Members opted-in to MySurvey.com AdTracker the entire month will receive one chance to win $1,000.

As an active member you are automatically enrolled in MySurvey.com AdTracker unless you chose to opt-out. To opt-out, click Update Your Info on the top menu and uncheck the MySurvey.com AdTracker option on that page.

What do you think of this new way to gather consumer opinions? If you are a member of MySurvey will you stay opted in for AdTracker or will you opt-out? I think I am going to stay opted in, I mean I don't have to download anything. I also can improve the amount of surveys targeted to me plus get entered into two separate sweepstakes, its pretty much a win-win situation.

MySurvey Product Test

Today I received a product test from MySurvey, I totally forgot I completed a survey that stated I would get this product to test. Of course I can't disclose to you what the product exactly is, lets just say it's a food product. So for all those people out there that want to participate in product tests, MySurvey sends invites here and there considering you qualify of course.

MySurvey is part of TNS(Taylor Nelson Sofres PLC), TNS is ranked as the world’s largest provider of custom research and analysis, operating globally across 70 countries. TNS has been collecting the opinions of US consumers since 1946 as National Family Opinion and then NFO. The current MySurvey.com website was created in 2001 to enable consumers to express their opinions online. You will notice the panel for Canadian and European residents is called TNS where as the panel for United States residents is called MySurvey(also known as NFO).

Synovate Study

"Synovate study compares online behavior of connected Hispanics, African-Americans and general market consumers"

CHICAGO — Despite the much cited "digital divide," many multicultural consumers in the U.S. are getting much more active online but in different ways, according to new research from global market research firm Synovate. Though younger people across all groups are much more likely to be online, there are major differences, including between males and females of the same age and ethnic group.

To find out more about online behavior among multicultural consumers Synovate recently surveyed a total of 4,000 males and females ages 18+ across the U.S., including approximately 1,000 general market respondents, 1,000 African-Americans and 2,000 Hispanics.

Though approximately one in four Hispanics, African-Americans and general market consumers have visited YouTube.com in the past six months, African-American and Hispanic males ages 18-34 were more likely to have visited YouTube than their female counterparts. Among African-Americans, 55% of males and 33% of females visited YouTube while, among Hispanics, 41% of males and 20% of females visited the site. This differs from the general market for which visiting this website was equally popular between males and females in the same age group.

For Hispanics, this gender disparity also extends to social networking sites such as MySpace.com and Facebook.com. Hispanic females were significantly less likely than Hispanic males to have visited social networking websites recently, with 18% of women and 27% of men claiming to have visited them. This is in sharp contrast to African-American and general market men and women who were equally as likely to have visited MySpace or Facebook.

The differences in online behavior are especially prevalent with online shopping. Among general market consumers, 57% have made a recent purchase online while only 42% of African-Americans and one quarter of Hispanics have done the same. The gap is even larger with eBay visits. Less than three out of ten African-Americans and Hispanics have visited eBay in the past six months versus 41% of the general market population.

According to Denise Marks, Vice President of Diversity Research at Synovate, "For many multicultural consumers, Internet usage is about connecting with friends and family, and to keep up on the latest trends and news. As more Hispanics and African-Americans spend time online, marketing efforts should be directed towards building trust among these consumers to help them feel comfortable about online commercial transactions."

Hispanics also lag behind other groups in adopting online banking, with only 24% claiming to have paid monthly bills online recently compared to 38% of general market consumers and 34% of African-Americans. While Hispanics overall are less likely to own financial products such as bank accounts and credit cards, their lower use of online banking may also be due to the fact that only 59% of Hispanics have Internet access at home, work, school, or through another means. This is substantially lower than the African-American and general market populations, of which at least 80% have Internet access.

Marks said, "Although Internet access is steadily increasing among Hispanics, basic necessities still come first for many in this group, the majority of who are immigrants. Buying a computer is not always at the top of their shopping list, especially with the current jump in food and gas prices."

Use of instant messaging, and posting to blogs and other online forums is similar across all groups, and again skews towards younger respondents. Instant messaging is more popular among Hispanic males than females, at 32% versus 24%, but there are no differences between the sexes for blogging.

With overall activity online, there are many differences among Hispanics depending on the language spoken at home. Overall, Hispanics that speak Spanish at home all or most of the time are much less likely to spend time online than those who are bilingual or English-dominant. The largest divide in online activities for the two language groups are engaging in commercial transactions or visiting social networks such as MySpace or Facebook. Those who speak English at least as much as Spanish are more likely to participate or visit these websites.

Qualified For Diaper Study!!!!!

I am so ecstatic about qualifying! I got a call from Neito Research almost a week ago asking me if I was still interested in participating in the diaper study, and of course I said yes! So the lady talked to me about the study; they would send me diapers to test and I just had to record information about mine and my sons experience with them. They said the information that I am suppose to record is about how many diapers my son used in a day, if they leaked, where they leaked and how I thought the diapers were compared to the brand I use most often. It is basically a timed study so I have to use as many diapers as I can in that time period.

I got the diapers to test in the mail about 3 days ago so I have a while to go before I am done with the study, so far it is easy and hey it's free diapers! I didn't think I was even going to qualify since I did send in my request to participate a little late but they sent me an email with the forms I needed to fill out and send back to them via postal mail. By that time I thought I might just have a shot at it, but there was still a chance that they had all the participants they needed - well I guess I got lucky!

FGI Research Payments

I am kinda late on posting these payment proofs for FGI Research, but better late than never. The payments are for $1.00 and the other one is for $0.50, the surveys I completed for the compensation weren't hard or that long at all. FGI Research usually sends me about 1-2 surveys per month, most of them are for surveys that pay $1.00 for participation. Since they aren't as well known as other survey/research sites their incentives are lower but they do pay through PayPal so that is a plus.

Here are a couple facts about FGI Research:

  • Provides online sample, custom panels, turnkey data collection, and custom research solutions.
  • For over 20 years, FGI has earned the trust of Fortune 100 companies and leading market research providers.
  • FGI is deeply committed to research quality and client services...backed by our dedicated Quality Control Program and continuous client satisfaction measurement.
  • FGI's online panel (850,000 panelists) and telephone center (80 seats) are highly respected throughout the research industry.

Survey Savvy Payment

When I checked the mailbox the other day I found that I received my check from Survey Savvy, I requested it about 4 weeks ago. Truthfully I totally forgot that I even requested it so when I saw it I was kinda surprised, not only because I forgot about it but also because when other survey sites send checks out it takes up to 8 weeks to receive the check. It's a nice feeling to know that Survey Savvy sends the checks out when they say they are and you receive them within the time they state as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to join a survey site that pays - and pays when they say they are! They are an International survey site so anyone can join. As you can see from my payment proof I got $5.00, not much but it adds up in the bank account, just last month from surveys alone I made around $65.00 - •☼• Yay me! •☼•
